This weekend was my last performance as a member of the Concordia University Singers. What better than to go out in the Christmas Spirit?!
Matt came up to see the concert this weekend, and we had a great time! Saturday was our "Christmas day" -- he came to the concert, then we went to Lincoln to see The Nativity Story. Plus, I shouldn't have, but I gave him his Christmas present early -- a 'promise' ring, with a Hebrew inscription reading "I am my beloved's and she is mine". He loved it, so I feel justified giving it to him early. :)
I'm beginning to count down the days until I'm moving home ... only 12 more days left here in the Concordia Bubble. I will truly miss this place, but I know that I'm doing the right thing. I've done some serious thinking and praying, and this is the best course for my life to take. I've made some great friends up here, and I plan to keep them. I'm just sad that I won't get to see them very often.
God is guiding me in my life, and I am learning to let Him lead. With God at the wheel, my life will never get off-track. :)
